Trillium Bookkeeping & Systems LLC

What We Offer

Informational Meetings, Complimentary

We offer free informational meetings or phone conversations with prospective new clients to determine if we are a good fit for each other. These are not meetings in which we provide advice or technical support. It’s a time to discuss your needs and how we might help you.

Bookkeeping Systems Set-up and Coaching

Together, we work with your budget and needs to build or rebuild your bookkeeping system in order to create clear, efficient systems and strong financials. This can lead to you taking over your books without further support or to hiring us for ongoing bookkeeping maintenance, as described below.

Ongoing Bookkeeping Maintenance

We offer ongoing support to help you maintain your books. This could mean full service bookkeeping and payroll management, or it could mean simple monthly check-ins and closings so you can confidently post your own books. It could also mean we focus our time on a specific area of issue for you, such as managing customer invoicing, while offering monthly review of the books to make sure all the dots are connecting correctly. Ongoing maintenance will look different for different clients. How we would support you is something we would design together to meet your unique budget and needs.

Basic Business Systems Set-up and Coaching

Along with bookkeeping, we can help you master other business systems to optimize efficiency and stay organized. This could include applications to track time and mileage efficiently, how to use Google Suite, and paperwork flow and filing systems.

*Note, to be an ongoing bookkeeping client, it is ideal for you to have or be willing to get Quickbooks Online

One-off Consultations

If you simply have specific questions or need to be pointed in the right direction, but only need an hour or two of our time, we do hourly consultations without any commitment.

Complex Business Systems Consulting

Provided for small companies that are growing out of their current distribution of labor and need the setting up of new departments, the re-configuring or splitting of job functions, with the ultimate goal to produce an Operations Manual containing a Company Flow Chart, clearly defining the new distribution of labor along with Job Descriptions and the responsibilities.

What We Do Not Offer

We are not CPAs or lawyers. We do not offer formal tax advice, legal advice, or file taxes. We help you get all your numbers recorded and organized for tax time, but the actual filing of taxes must either be passed off to a tax preparer or done yourself. We recommend that questions concerning tax strategy and regulations be directed to a certified tax preparer.

By demystifying bookkeeping and replacing overwhelm with confidence, our mission is to empower small business owners, start-ups, and non-profits through individualized bookkeeping and systems support.

Our Rates

-$50/hr for all standard ongoing client services, including new set-ups, ongoing coaching, moving financial tracking to Quickbooks, and bookkeeping maintenance

If these fees are a hardship for you, reach out to us, as we have limited space for some clients on a sliding scale.
